Sales. Sales. Sales. {Marc Jacobs, Oscar De la Renta Choos & Louboutins}

Marc Jacobs:

The Marc Jacobs boutique in SoHo-- not to be confused with the Marc Jacobs section of the West Village-- is hosting a 70% off sale. All spring ready-to-wear, shoes and jewelry are discounted by two-thirds. Bags are not discounted at all so if you're looking for a good MJ bag discount you might want to head over to Barneys or Saks.

Oscar De la Renta 50% Off:

The entire Oscar de la Renta spring collection is 50% off, including ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, belts, sunglasses and fashion jewelry. The sale is also online for your viewing and shopping pleasure.

Most dresses started off at about $7000 and are about $3500 now. Shoes are in the $600 to $700 range and are now, well, half that. The after sale price for sunglasses averages around $150 and handbags are, not very attractive, so don't worry about it.The site also has an outlet where the inventory from prior collections is also 50% off. We don't understand that pricing rational but maybe other shoppers do. Last season, the collection went to 70% off. So if you're looking for a great deal you might want to wait four to six weeks.

Louboutin & Choos:

Choo shoes and Louboutin shoes are officially going on sale at their respective boutiques starting Friday. The spring/ summer collection at Christian Louboutin will be 40% off. We are told that there is still a good selection of shoes and sizes but you should go now because there will not be any further discounts.

As for Jimmy Choos, the discount is 30% off. The sale includes the summer and cruise collection, as well as select bags. There was a private sale last week but we were left in the dark due to a dim sales woman who believed that the sale would not begin until the fall. Don't fret, we have the situation under control and Faisa will be taking care of all our Jimmy Choo "needs." going forward.Erich (Christian Louboutin) 212-396-1884Faisa (Jimmy Choo) 212-759-7078
